A warm farewell to Dr Zixing Song, who left the University of Bristol on 30 September 2026 to join the Department of Data Science and Artificial Intelligence (DSAI) at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University as Assistant Professor and Presidential Young Scholar. Zixing joined FEL as Lecturer in Financial Technology in 2025. During his year with the group, he contributed to FEL research and taught on our MSc Financial Technology with Data Science programme. We thank Zixing for his contributions to FEL and wish him every success in his new role.
