I’m pleased to share that Prof John Cartlidge (PI), Dr Jin Zheng (PI), Prof S.V.D. Nageswara Rao (CI, IITB), and Dr Piyush Pandey (CI, IITB) have been awarded a University of Bristol Global Positioning Fund (University Strategic Partners) to establish a new research collaboration in Financial Technology between Univeristy of Bristol and Indian Institute of Technology Bombay. The GPF award will support John’s initial visit to IITB in February 2026 and the inaugural University of Bristol–IIT Bombay FinTech Research Collaboration Workshop, 1–2 July 2026, Bristol, which will include a two-day programme of research presentations and strategic discussions. The collaboration aims to develop long-term partnerships in Financial Technology research, researcher mobility, and research-led education between the two institutions.
